ഞാൻ കവിതയെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നവളാണ്, വായിച്ചും ചിന്തിച്ചും, മനനം ചെയ്തും ഉള്ള സ്നേഹം. പ്രവാസികൾക്ക് മലയാളം ഒരു നൊസ്റ്റാള്‍ജിയ മാത്രമാണ്, അതിനെ അമ്മയെപ്പോലെ സ്നേഹിക്കണം, മക്കളെപ്പോലെ വളര്‍ത്തണം. പറയാനുള്ള വാക്കുകളെല്ലാം കവിതയാവില്ല, ആവശ്യമുള്ളത് പുറത്ത് കാണിച്ച്, പലതും മറച്ച് അതിന്റെ ഭംഗി നിലനിർത്തുന്നതാണ് കവിത.
ഈ കവിതകളിലെ വാക്കുകൾ, എന്റെ മനസ്സിന്റെ കണ്ണാടിയായി, സങ്കടങ്ങളും, കണ്ണുനീരും, എല്ലാംതന്നെ വാക്കുകളുടേ വേലിയേറ്റങ്ങളായി പുറപ്പെടുന്നു. കവിതകൾ ജീവിതത്തിന്റെ സങ്കടങ്ങൾ മാത്രമാകണമെന്നില്ല, വാക്കുകളാലും പ്രവര്‍ത്തിയാലും, മനസ്സിന്റെ പക്വതകൊണ്ടും ഏതൊരു അസ്വസ്ഥകളെയും നമുക്ക് ,സ്വസ്ഥമായ ഒരു പുഞ്ചിരിയില്‍ നിര്‍ത്താം. എന്റെ ഓരൊ രോമകൂപത്തിലും ഞാന്‍ കവിതയെഴുതി,എന്റെ സ്നേഹം കൊണ്ട് വാക്കുകളുടെ തൂവെള്ള കടലാസിനെ ഞാൻ ധവള പത്രമാക്കി. ശരീരത്തിന്റെ ഓരോ ഉയിര്‍ത്തെഴുന്നേല്പുകളും, വാക്കുകളായി, അവക്കു പുതുജീവന്‍ വെക്കുന്നതും പൂക്കള്‍ വിടരുന്നതും, സുഗന്ധം പരക്കുന്നതും ഞാനറിഞ്ഞു. അവക്ക് നീരുറവയും എന്റെ ശരീരത്തില്‍ നിന്നും കുതിക്കും. ഭാരമില്ലാതെ, ഞാന്‍ കവിയാകുന്നുഎനിക്ക് നിന്നില്‍ നിറയണം, കവിതയായ്, എനിക്ക് എല്ലാം നീയാണ്, എല്ലാം കൂടി, എന്റെ സ്വപ്നം, എന്റെ കവിത.

“Swapnangal” – A Poetry Book Award for Sapna Anu George
Setting a platform to recognize Sapna. Anu. George as an evolving Poetess needs to be appropriately pronounced in knowing her attitude, her approach, and kind of poetry that she evolves. Sapna received an award for her book, ” by KYC, a poetry collection, in Malayalam ” Swapnanagal’ by Kerala Youth Cultural Organization from Trissur District, Kerala. The award consists of 10001/- Rs , a Certificate, letter of commendation and a Trophy which will be given by the Honorable Minister C N.Balakrishnan in a public function, said the KYC president C. C. Ashraf and Secretary Mr. Basil Tangal.
Sapna’s Poetry is the spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings that originates from emotions recollected in tranquility. The way of expressing emotion in the form of poetry is by finding an ‘objective correlative’, which has set of objects, a situation and a chain of events, which is the source of those emotions. These poems contain, emotions that are suppressed and concealed through the life and tales of the people living in Middle East.
Sapna is a freelance journalist and her impartial comfort zone towards both English and Malayalam language needs to be credited in writing for Malayalam news papers and magazines that are popular amongst the NRI Population living in the Middle East.Sapna is all set to release her two more poetry collection books, ‘Swapnam Kaanunna Samayam’ in Malayalam and “Song of the Soul” in English here in Muscat by December. She lives in Oman with husband Biju Titty George who works as Senior Project Manager with Haya Water and her 3 children, Shiksha, Diskshith and Dakshin are students of Indian School Al Gubrah.
